How do CrowdTracking (CT) devices work?

Our trackers use Bluetooth and/or GPS technology (depending on the model), and some connect to Apple’s Find My network or our dedicated app to provide real-time location updates.

How do I set up my tracking device?

Setup is quick and easy. Depending on your model, you’ll either pair the device via the Find My app (Apple iOS) or through the ik app on Android. Instructions are included with every product.

What phones or systems are supported?

CrowdTracking devices are compatible with a range of Apple and Android devices. Some models support only iOS (Find My), while others work with both platforms via our app. Check product details for specifics.

📱 Device & Compatibility

Is there an app I need to use the trackers?

Yes—most CrowdTracking devices use the ik People app, available on iOS and Android. Some products are also compatible with Apple’s Find My app for iOS users.

Are CrowdTracking (CT) devices compatible with Android?

Many of our devices work with Android through the ik People app. However, Apple Find My-compatible devices are only for iOS users.

Can I track more than one item at once?

Yes! You can manage multiple CrowdTracking devices at once through the app—perfect for tracking several items like keys, bags, and bikes.

🔋 Battery Life

How long does battery last?

The battery life of the tracking tags varies depending on the product, from an estimated 6 to 24 months with normal use. The battery can be replaced in most products, some can be charged and in a single product with a battery life of up to 24 months, the battery cannot be changed or charged. See specifications under the individual products.

Are the batteries replaceable or rechargeable?

Most of our tracking devices are equipped with standard CR2032 batteries and are replaceable. Depending on the model, the battery may be rechargeable as well. Please refer to the product specifications for detailed information on battery type and usage.

How do I know when the battery is low?

The current battery life can be viewed in the specific app, depending on your device model (Android or iOS). For specific instructions, please refer to your device's user manual or check the product page.

🔒 Privacy & Safety

Are CrowdTracking (CT) tracking devices secure?

Yes, security is a top priority at CrowdTracking. Our devices and app use encrypted Bluetooth communication and secure cloud infrastructure to ensure your location data is protected. Only you—and those you choose to share with—can access your tracking information.

Can someone use my tracker without my knowledge?

No. Our tracking system is designed to prevent unauthorized use. If a CrowdTracking device is detected moving with you and it’s not linked to your account, you’ll receive an alert through the app. This helps protect against unwanted tracking and ensures you’re always in control.

How does CrowdTracking (CT) protect my privacy?

We take your privacy seriously. All data transmitted by our devices is anonymized and encrypted. Your location history is only visible to you, and we never share or sell your data. You’re always in control of your information, and you can manage privacy settings directly from the app.

💬 Support & Contact

My package has been shipped but not arrived?

You can follow your package via the Track&Trace link in the order confirmation. It can take up to 24 hours before scans/updates are visible on the carrier's website. If the item has not arrived at the expected time, please contact the carrier for further information.

My package is damaged upon receipt. What do I do?

In the case of damage, you must complain to CrowdTracking customer service as soon as possible or at the latest within 5 days per phone +45 3360 2607 or email info@crowdtracking.eu

When reporting freight damage, it is very important that we get photo documentation of the damage.

How can I track my order?

You can track your order via freight companies that we use. These can vary depending on your location. Read our shipping policy to gain overview of which freight company you can use to track your order.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you're not satisfied, you can return your CrowdTracking device within 14 days of delivery for a full refund—no questions asked. Just make sure the item is unused, in its original packaging, and includes all accessories.
